Mercer Island Waterfront Home Tour

The waterfront on Mercer Island is highly sought-after real estate. When a home on the waterfront is designed, its focus should be on entertaining, capturing the views and access to Lake Washington. After touring this 2006-built estate on Faben Point, it's clear that this remarkable home manages to do all three, combining beautiful luxury interior construction with relaxing, enjoyable outdoor spaces leading down to the waterfront.

Entering from the gated drive, a guest house and 3 car garage provide privacy at the front of the lot, while further down the lane, the traditionally-styled main home and attached 2 car garage come into view. Access to I-90 and Seattle or Bellevue is just a short drive from here, but Faben Point feels like a distinct, private community of homes.

The owners clearly spared no expense with the living area finishes, as the stonework, millwork, and walls of windows give the home warmth while allowing tons of Western sunlight in. With five bedrooms and 9 baths, there are plenty of accomodations for guests and ample space for entertaining large crowds.
Mercer Island Luxury Home Kitchen
The 9000 square feet of living space is divided into three levels with the main living room enjoying double-height ceilings. Seven fireplaces, indoor and out, give a variety of areas for nighttime and winter events. All five bedrooms have ensuite baths, and virtually every room in the home has a view of the lake.

On the way down the back of the property, a pool, hot tub, and fountains adorn the patio just steps up from the water. Multiple terraces look out onto the back yard from bedrooms, living, and other parts of the home.
Mercer Island Faben Point
The property levels off again at the waterline with a large lawn and access to the docks. There is ample space for watercraft parking including a large yacht. A bonus-2 supercharged SeaDoos and a 25′ Cobalt boat will stay with the home and the new buyer.
Mercer Island Waterfront
The 110 feet of Lake Washington waterfront are perfectly utilized on the 3/4 acre lot, and access is made easy with a golf cart and cart path from the street to the water line. If you're going to live on the waterfront on Mercer Island, this is the way to do it. Soak up the sunshine, head down to the water, and take your new watercraft out for a spin.
